Meet The Team

The coaches, founders, and educators behind Showball have lived the recruiting process — as players, as coaches, and as the people families turn to when it matters most.

A New Orleans native, Bruce earned his Master of Arts in Teaching and spent four years in the classroom teaching Algebra and Geometry — committed to the belief that a young person's future is built in the classroom before it is ever built on the field. That dual commitment to education and athletics became the foundation of his entire coaching philosophy.

From 2007 to 2019, he served as a collegiate hitting coach and recruiting coordinator across six programs throughout Florida and the Southeast. His teams won conference championships, an FCSAA State & Regional Championship, and an NJCAA National Runner-Up finish while holding the #1 national ranking.

His programs produced 40 All-Conference players, 10 All-State players, and 3 All-Americans, and helped over 80 athletes sign with four-year schools or professional organizations — including 3 top-5 round MLB Draft picks and 5 players who reached the Big Leagues.

After his time in the dugout, he guided more than 300 families through the collegiate recruiting process as a consultant — helping parents and players navigate one of the most important decisions of a young athlete's life. In May 2024, he became President & CEO of Showball Baseball.
