Why Should I Attend A Showball Showcase Camp

What Should Each Player Bring To Camp?
All players are required to bring their baseball equipment: baseball gloves, batting gloves, bats, helmets, and catcher’s equipment, baseball pants, socks, belts and cleats. We recommend wearing white pants, red socks and a red belt. Jerseys and hats will be provided at check-in.
After the 1st day of the camp, all players must show up to camp in full uniform with shirts tucked in and with hats on properly.
What Time Does Camp Begin Each Day?
Please be advised that there are two different start times on day 1. Half of the campers will be required to check in at 7am while the other half of the campers will be required to check in around 12:30pm. Each group will workout for approximately 5-6 hours.
On day 2, the start and end times are contingent upon your team’s scheduled games. Please be prepared for your 2nd game to end as early as 1pm or as late as 7pm.
When Will The Camp Schedule & Rosters Be Available Pre-Camp?
Please reference the itinerary link on the desired camp page. Typically, itineraries, rosters and camp instructions are posted 4-5 days prior to the start of a given camp.
Does Showball Provide Lodging and Meals For Participants?
No.
All participants are responsible for their own lodging and meals. To secure a room at the host hotel (same hotel where coaches will be staying), please reference the “travel / accommodations” link on the desired camp page.
May My Son Be Placed On The Same Team As a Friend Or Current Teammate?
To ensure that your son and teammate / friend are on the same team, simply send a request via email info@showballbaseball.com.
All requests must be submitted at least 3 weeks prior to the start date of a camp.
Are Parents Permitted To Attend The Camp And Interact With Coaches?
Parents are indeed encouraged to attend the camp as your support is vital in this process.
However, although interaction with coaches is permitted, we recommend being mindful that each coach’s purpose for being at the camp is to interact with and evaluate the players. In the event your son is having a conversation, you are certainly welcome to join.
WiLl Evaluations / Player Worksheets Be Provided To Players?
All players will be provided a verbal feedback (consisting of constructive feedback) at the conclusion of their 2nd game on day 2.
The feedback should be utilized as a tool for players to improve their game and the information will be provided by one of the attending college coaches.
Will There Be An Athletic Trainer On Location?
Showball employs and ensures that an athletic trainer will be on site for the duration of the camp.
In the event that ice is required or an injury occurs, the trainer will be available to address the situation.
What Happens In The Event of Inclement Weather and Will There Be a Refund?
There are no refunds.
Since all expenses are paid in their entirety prior to the start of the camp, there are no refunds under any circumstance. However, in the event of inclement weather, Showball reserves the right to modify the camp schedule and format in order to complete as much of the camp as possible.
This includes shortening workouts, drills and/or games. Although we will not extend the camp to another day, we will certainly do everything in our power to provide a complete and professional experience.
Force Majeure: In the event of a Natural Disaster, to include but not limited to, hurricanes, earthquakes, or any other unforeseen disruption, Showball reserves the right to reschedule the event until such time as is appropriate as determined by Showball.

Information Collection and Use
At Showball Camps, we respect and protect the privacy of our customers and those who use our website. The following Privacy Statement provides details about how your personal information is collected and used.
Showball Camps is the sole owner of information collected on this site and through our registration provider’s site, Active.com. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. Showball Camps may collect information from our users at several different points on our website. Our website offers several opportunities for visitors to register for promotional and informational mailings. These registration forms are often linked to Showball Camps’s mailing lists and request users to provide contact information (such as name and email address). We use this contact information to send users information about our company and its products and services if requested or necessary. Users may opt-out of receiving future mailings at any time (see the choice/opt-out section below).
Bullying and Behavior Management Policy
At Showball Camps, we respect and protect all of our customers, coaches, players, families, facilities, equipment, and employed staff.
Player Expectations and Behavior Management Plan Expectations for Attendees
The following behaviors are unacceptable and will not be tolerated:
- Swearing/Foul Language
- Hitting/fighting, or any other method of physical harm
- Stealing
- Destruction of property
- Demeaning or bullying another camper
- In possession/use of drugs or weapons
In extreme cases of unacceptable behavior that is physically threatening to other participants or staff or in direct violation of the camp safety and/or COVID-19 guidelines and protocols, the camp reserves the right to immediately remove a participant from a program. There is a Zero Tolerance Policy for verbal threats or actions toward the physical well-being of other players or staff. This behavior will result in the immediate dismissal of the player and those who attended the camp with him: friends and/or family members.
No refunds will be issued if your child has been removed from the program for disciplinary reasons.
Therefore, please note that there are no refunds for any player who is asked to leave camp due to behavioral challenges (bullying, fighting, verbal or physical abuse or any other form of misconduct) as assessed and determined, with full discretion, by the Director and the Showball Camp Administrative staff at Showball Events.
Sharing and Usage
Showball Camps will never share, sell, or rent your personal information with third parties for their promotional use. Occasionally, we enter into contracts with third parties so that they can assist us in servicing you (for example, providing registration service). The contracts prohibit them from using any of your personal information for their own purposes, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of the information we provide to them. We may disclose or report personal information in limited circumstances where we believe in good faith that disclosure is required under the law. For example, we may be required to disclose personal information to cooperate with regulators or law enforcement authorities, to comply with a legal process such as a court order, subpoena, search warrant, or law enforcement request.
