Founded in 2007 by former professional players, John Novak (Texas Rangers Organization) and Derek Ottevaere (Texas Rangers Organization), Showball Baseball has rapidly become one of the leading providers of High School baseball and softball collegiate showcase camps in the United States.
With a unique combination of elite collegiate coaches/instructors and professional facilities, we continue to reshape the landscape of the recruiting process. In 2007, we were the first organization to offer high school athletes the opportunity to play on a Major League baseball field (Dodger Stadium) while learning and competing in front of top collegiate coaches. With positive feedback and multiple success stories, we have since hosted events at other Major League Baseball stadiums such as: Petco Park (San Diego Padres), At&t Park (San Francisco Giants), and Tropicana Field (Tampa Bay Rays).
As former collegiate and professional players ourselves, we understand the daily rigors and challenges that parents and players face in the recruiting process. In August of 2010, we once again pushed the envelope with showcase camps as we became the first organization to organize a showcase camp which offered high school athletes the opportunity to learn from and been seen by 25 “top” college coaches at one time..
Currently, our showcase camps now offer high school athletes the opportunity to learn from and be seen by 45 top collegiate coaches at one time. Our events are now considered to have the largest gathering of College Coaches in the United States for Showcase Camps. All Showball Showcase Camps are only limited by age and total number of participants.
Our ultimate mission is to ensure that all high school baseball players continue to learn the value of an education while pursuing their dreams of playing college baseball.
